I see mip 4n1 clutches on ebay. very interested in getting a set. but all I see are just the shoes and spring. did mip make a full clutch assembly? the retaining clip seems like a better idea than the e-clip. I hate e-clips.

They didn't make a complete kit, just the clutch. It's shoes, spring, and weights.
Associated used to sell a complete clutch kit, but not in a long time, now you have to buy them individually.

Mip also had a light and a heavy flywheel. I loved those heavy ones

MIP 4-n-1 clutch was great, easily tunable without any modifications. I always found setting #3 the best in my opinion.
If the bell rubs the clutch or is too tight you can use a copper glow plug washer between the clutch nut and flywheel. You need a little bit of end float on the bell or your bearings will be gone before you know it.
