That is a dream truck!
I have to suck up big time to beg VAE to paint mine!

Looks great!! I've been wanting a white GT for probably the last 10 years or so, and it's the only Associated offroad that I dont have in white/fiberglass.
Does anyone do the early narrow rear tower in graphite?

To my knowledge no, but I don't know half what most on here do would be a pretty easy part to cut though. Maybe send a stock one to someone who works with carbon and have the duplicate it.lil_general_lee wrote:Looks great!! You could just get the wide rear tower and trim the "ears" off of it.lil_general_lee wrote:Looks great!! I've been wanting a white GT for probably the last 10 years or so, and it's the only Associated offroad that I dont have in white/fiberglass.

Re: Romulus22's box art RC10GT
Finally scrounged up the "correct" mounts for this truck.

Per the manual.

Last thing on my list is the exhaust header. Note the thick square flange. If I had to guess this was a non production part, but I ask those of you know more than I do if they've ever seen this header on a GT?

Looks great! There's just something about the white parts GT.
Good job on the body. I chose to leave mine clear for showing off the guts, but if I had a body done like yours, it'd be on there!

Did you knurl the flywheel and sand the fins on the head yet? The two hardest thing to find for mine was the pipe and the receiver crystal. Still haven't found the pipe yet. I might just have to make one

Re: Romulus22's box art RC10GT
I have never seen one of those headers, even on the very early models. I wonder if it might be from a different car/truck, or maybe even Paris or another engine manufacturer. Beside the flange, it looks like it is longer with a larger radius, and lower than the kit header.
