I am not sure now what I used on the setting then. I must have used the 15 amp setting, the thing will go 15, 20, 50, and 250 amps. This was so long ago I can't remember. I do know I was nervous as hell doing it and I did a ton or reading on the subject before going at it.

The RIT dye worked pretty good but is no where near good enough for something that is used. Looks good on a shelf but that is about it.

I'm glad that this thread resurfaced. I had just about given up on this, but maybe I will give it a go after all. Where do you guys get the aluminum wire, is it available at Lowes and Home Depot? - What department?

I got mine at Lowes. You got to look hard for it though. Check the electric fence section I beleive.

Doesn't Eastwood offer a kit? Or at least I thought they used to.

Ne way to color the non aluminum parts since i cant find ne aluminum arms for my rc10t1...my chassis is alum and black in color but ima change that just dont know wat color yet
