I'm glad to see others interested in this. I recently sent an e-mail to R/C Car Action asking if any of their writers has considered an in-depth book on the full history of r/c. I figured they would have the resources and time. I have no writing talents so I'm right out. I for one would be interested in reading it. Of course it would have to include hundreds of photos. :P

I ran across an old article that written supposedly from the guy whom started it all in US back in the 60s. I have been planning on scanning the article and posting it here. I will try this weekend.

That article I was referring to is in the August 1991 RC Model Cars Mag. It is authored by Norb Meyer, whom had 50% equity in creating the Ra/Car in 1968. I will post it when I get a chance, likely over the weekend. Great Read for Sure!
