wow, those have been pretty much abused!! Lot of work to make at least a good one, but hey, that's the most funny part, enjoy every minute because when it's done, you are only left with watching it and you'll most probably go for an other project, that's the real madness

keep us posted with your restos

It's a strange hobby. I have always had some sort of RC "toy". Be it a 7.5 powered fiberglass tunnel hull or 1/5 scale Corsair, there has always been something there.

I got my first Goldie years ago and that was cool. I left it at that. I had the Goldie and an Optima. Then when the graphite came out, I bought one of those as an upgrade. So far, so good.

Then there were all kinds of other stuff, T-maxx, Kyo ATV, blah blah blah. When I got back into the car scene last year, I though, "I'll buy an old 10, fix it up and me and the boy can bash it".

NOT

The first car was a runner and had some trick stuff on it. Then I thought, I need a shelfer. I got a barn bunny and cleaned it up then came across one that was never assembled. Had to have. It has been less than a year since I started and I have several cars with several more on the way.

So take it from Asso_man!
This has just begun. Word of advise from me, don't throw anything away.

I've been a member of this forum for only six months and I never owned an RC10 before that (discounting my TC3), I now have 9 and an 10th on the way. I don't have an addictive character, no gambling, drugs, excessive drinking or smoking but these classic RC10s have nailed me proper and they're siphoning money at an alarming rate

My name is FERRETTI and I am an addict :!:
