SCORE!!!!
lol....
You know, I reckon I've seen that body somewhere, in a magazine from back in the day. I went looking for it the other day, but it wasn't in the magazine I thought..... will have to look some more! I do have part of a sheet of those "Painted by Motion Graphics" decals somewhere, they were an Autographix item from memory....
Still a great pickup....
Alex

Awesome! Motion Graphics was the shiznit back in the day. I remember seeing their paint jobs in RCCA all the time. That could well be a Motion Graphics body, it looks like a top quality paint job.

If I said I wasn't jealous I'd be lying!

It gives off an aura like it was an R/C mags test vehicle. Either that or someone built it after one. Having had a couple of Motion Graphics painted bodies in my collection I'd venture to say that it is one.
On the shocks I'd say they might be Trinity Power Plus ones.

Thanks for all the input,
I experimented with a wheel today, Got some Nevr-Dull, I have never used it before today, It works good to polish with a lot of work, me being me i had to make it easier lol, So i pulled out my Hudy Tire Lathe

(I bought it to put foams on a 10L project i still have not finished lol). The tarnish was really bad so i took some fine scotchbrite and made quick work of getting a matte finish, then all i had to do was use the nevr-Dull to polish them up, I have a 12mm hex adapter for the lathe so its fine for the rear wheels, I have to get a 6mm nut to get the rear pancar adapter to work on the front wheels, ill see if i can find a metric nut at work tomorrow
An i found a article in RCCA (April 1990) that had a KingCab painted by Motion Graphics, The paint job is very much like my truck but the colors are different.
Sorry about the crap pics, I always get a yellow hue in my pictures lol

Looks like the wheels came out great. They look almost like brand new, the finish is pretty much perfect, not totally polished to a chrome-like finish. Nice work!
I've got that issue of RCCA too, I can still remember that article. I'm thinking that is definitely a Motion Graphics body. I've always wanted a Motion Graphics body. Matter of fact I tried to see if they still had a website a couple weeks ago, I couldn't find it if they do. I met Richard a few years back at a hobby trade show on Long Island. It must have been around 2003ish. He had a whole display with a bunch of sample bodies. I got one of his cards, I'm not sure what I did with it. Does anyone know if they are still in business?

Unbelievable. There's a lot of cars on this forum that I really like. This truck on the other hand, well let's just say this is the first time I've ever been jealous of someone.

William, that is another truck to add to the impressive collection you have going.
Nice work on the truck, that thing looks pretty killer.
You have been pretty lucky lately with all the badly listed items you have been picking up. I need to know your secret,
Jake

I love your wheels! I actually still have a set of those with that same style on my 1:1 Charger...it's a very dated design but still quite distinctive. I'd love something similar for an Optima.
