Remove all screws and disassemble the chassis.

400 or 600 grit sandpaper and wet-sand until you've removed the worst of the scratches (you won't remove them all, but it'll at least be an improvement). Then repeat with 800, 1000 and 1500 grit. When done, buff it up with some rubbing compound (3M, Turtle Wax work fine). Lastly, you can use a fine, quality polishing compound; I use Nu-Finish Scratch Doctor.

By that time and all that elbow grease, you'll have a chassis that's a hundred times nicer than what you got now. It'll gleam, but there'll still be a few scratches...but it'll be much better than before. 8)
