:D Very nice, I notice the Ruffy shock treatment on the shock bodies.
Love the aluminum CVD's (or are they TI) and the CF fly wheel.

What are the white plastic nuts?

The CVD's are aluminum. I wondered who was going to catch the white nylon nuts. They are 2-56 nylon nuts, that have been tapped to 4-40. It only takes a couple of seconds to tap them (you don't go all the way though BTW). The std 4-40 nylons don't fit the new bleeder caps without binding. So it's either this or the small 4-40 aluminum locknuts. -Jeff

This is a nice racing car you got. The rear tower looks good with the world's front tower, nice combo.

I really like this, turned out great.

You said this was a racer, what axles are on this front and rear (i.e. is it running 2.2" modern wheels/tires)?

Maybe a little CF vinyl used, like this:

Vinyl!

I could even do my teeth in faux-CF.

I love the OD green. How perfect was the aluminum tub before you sent it in?

The the CF on the slipper is actually a 2mm thick CF disk (from touring cars btw) used on the outside of the gear. I keeps the gear from becoming deformed when the mounting screws are tightened. Pluss it looks cool  .

I always like to send in my stuff as clean and raw as possible. The chassis is used however, and has the usual scratches from running. -Jeff

That is one classy looking RC10! Almost a shame to run it... I love the little touches like the shiney hardware & the c/sunk screws to the noseplate & chassis sides, also the various trimming of the motor plate etc 8)

I see you have fitted captive ball ends to the outside of the steering links... i've realised having raced mine a few times that this is a worthwhile mod, as despite changing to RPM ball ends, even the slightest knock would result in that outer end of the link popping off

Will be nice to see this finished & ready to roll :)

Very nice job on this one. Did you end up finishing it?

No, it sits just as the pics were taken. I think I might sell it, as I am too busy to finish it. I have My current racer, as well as 3 or 4 4wd cars and a new B4.1. Funny actually it is in a plastic bag (to keep it clean of course) on top of a unfished Triumph, on top of an unfinished TRX-1, next to a ...  . I think talking this out has made me decide to sell it now. Thanks -Jeff

This is a great build! I've never owned an Associated car being a Losi man since 1993, but I am really jealous that you guys have a bigger 'canvas' with these - by which I mean the ally chassis & that everyone gets to custom anodise or powder coated. I am really  . I just get a motor plate to play with :(
