You guys are aware that the third host is Adam Ferrara, not Adam Corolla, right?

Truth is, Corolla would have been a better choice. He's a hardcore car guy and knows his stuff. The guy this did pick instead is a tool.

saw 5 minutes of the UK version awhile back. new cars really do nothing for me. especially exotic sports cars. so i highly doubt i'll ever watch the US version.

let me know when they're going to try out a big block 67 vette. THAT, i'd most likely watch.

I think the US version is no where near the greatness of the UK. They just don't have a sense of humor like the brits do! Or maybe its just the British accents that make it cool! hahah

I also do not like that a car company sponsors the US version. They have to watch what they say if they ever test a Mercedes! The UK version tells it like it is!

That is why this version will never match the original! I'm sure it will be just like watching a live action issue of 'Motor Trend'...whoever has the most ads gets the biggest endorsement.

Lame.

I haven't watched it and don't plan to as the whole concept of having a US version doesn't appeal to me. It reminds me of the recent trend in movies. Take one from back in the day that ever had a shred of popularity and completely ruin the hell out of it with a remake.

The second episode was a lot better but I think it will take time to see if it's going to work or not. I don't like the "and that's whats coming up after the break" it's very fake and bland. They just need to get to the point where they can work together and not be afraid to say what they want to say instead of following a script. Take the script away and give an outline of what they need to say. Needs personality.

Corolla is the biggest tool out there, I don't care if he knows his stuff or not, the guy is an unfunny jackmule. I'd rather see Tim Allen on the panel if you want some comic relief. Maybe some eye candy like Danica Patrick or one of the other female drivers.

I agree on the Tim Allen comment.

I think Leno & Allen would have given the show some personality.

Danica would have been a perfect choice for the Stig...or eye candy..

Be careful when mentioning Danica Patrick as attractive, I was berated something fierce by one of the resident professional "experts" in the forum awhile back ...apparently her very name triggers something..

My opinion was trumped by pro golfers and women of the WNBA...silly me.

Well, there's no accounting for some peoples tastes, even if it's BAD. I don't personally find anything offensive about Danica, is she a raving beauty? No, but I'll lay you dollars to donuts that there isn't a guy out there that would refuse advances from her on a Friday night. If you want repulsive you can go to Lindsay Lohan or Paris Hilton. I want to vomit whenever I see either one of them. Total trailer trash, both of them.

My suspicion with the choices of the hosts is that they're cheap. Getting a celebrity the likes of Allen or Leno would cost some bucks. While I think that Leno would be a good choice, especially if he's got someone like Allen to work with, Leno is also getting old and tired in my book. That doesn't mean he wouldn't be a great host, but ... I'm just say'n.

I saw the second episode. Again, it was "ok". The one thing that I don't like is that wicked retaded NE accent of Adam Ferrara. I realize I just used a Boston accent to explain an NY accent, but it's all incredibly annoying either way. BTW, to all my NE rc10talk buddies...I love you all. :D
