There were no springs on the clutch and the slipper has a bushing, no bearing.
I havent actually run the engine yet but i did get it unstuck. Fuel that has sat for that long is not pretty.

Actually because of the fuel issue, i dont think i will be able to reuse the fuel tank cause of all the crystalized crud in it.
I dont plan on runnin the truck either, except to get the engine running. Its going to be my first shelfer.

Excellent choice. I know a lot of people hate shelf queens, but we really need for some to be kept on shelves. Once they are ran they will never look the same again. Even the ones that are/were lightly ran need to be put away. There are always new trucks/cars to run. Let historic pieces remain a part of history. All scales and classes.

Well here is the finished chassis. The only thing left that i am waiting for is the foam pad for the rear bumper, and it is on the way.
I did manage to get the fuel tank cleaned out with brake cleaner but probably would'nt try to run fuel through it cause the stone filter still looks green. the tank looks alot better though.
I decided not to run the engine because i would have to tear it down again to clean out the fuel before it hit the shelf. I am confident that it would run though. I oiled it down so hopefully it wont lock up again from sitting.
Anyway on to the pictures, enjoy.
