Do you have any more pics of the rear hubs and belt drive ? It looks very similar to my 4WD MMS and the rear bulkhead has been cut for 4wd too. I dont think the chassis has ever been 4wd though as there aren't enough holes at the front.

Dont throw the bits away if you convert the car to standard spec.

Nice find.

Thanks for the comments, really helps.

I don't think it was 4WD, like you say no screws holes at the front, there's no belt marks on the chassis either.

Yet the bulkheads been cut out and it runs the Schumacher twin belt cat diff.....

Anyhow, another pic, sorry about the quality, we're moving soon and the wifes packed the camera.....So phone job it is!

Got a couple of more pan chassis coming soon from fleabay, so I'll have the new rear bulkhead etc soon, fingers crossed with the new bit's I've got on order, I'll have it built this weekend!!

Cheers all.

Well the rear hubs are MMS for sure and the transmission will be too, it would have been a quick car in its day with the motor in the same place as stock.

Back in the day I made a belt drive for my RC10 with a PB 2 speed unit in it, the thing was really quick but in the high range the brakes didnt work !

Let me know if you ever want to sell the bits.

Cheers

You simply plug the k810i into the receiver, then attach the receiver to the MMS rear hubs and everything should be fine.

That must be the funniest post ever here...

LOL this is hilarious

What has the internet become, I'm asking yall...

The more I look at pics of this car, the more it grows on me... there's actually quite a bit of work to make all this mismatched stuff "fit" together. Shelf Engineering rocks :)

Won a boat load of spares at the weekend, on Fleabay!
Not schumacher gearbox bits, but plenty of RC10 bits for a good rebuild!

Pics coming soon.

Right, quick update, house moving sucks.

Been looking into rebuilding the old "plank".

Found a MIP gearbox in the parts bin, so that's of on it.
Got some low height shock towers on order.
I'll be needing some .71 shocks for this one.

I'm hoping to keep it to the old skool way, less weight more speed, it's a British thing I think!!
Mid munted, LWB and as light as I can get it!!

Watch this space......

That 'RCmacher10' looks like a right hotch-potch of parts.... I even spot Mardave Meteor bellcranks!.... & that super-slim chassis is mad! :D But its all cool though, sounds like you was quite successfull with it!

I can understand why it would seem a good idea to swap out the 6gear tranny & the AE shocks.... but I wouldn't have thought the Schumacher items were that much of an improvement - especially the shocks :?

I remember back in the day Top Models released a car called the 'Hybrid' - it was exactly that - a hybrid of all the best parts from all the different cars, IIRC it had Traxxas shocks, Stealth gearbox, HPI 5 star wheels & a white 'RPM' style moulded chassis - I've never to this day ever seen one (other than in old magazines)..... this car kind of reminds me of that :)
That's what I was going to say. Someone got Schumacher on your RC10.
