Nice chassis Reg, but no matter how it looks or runs, you still will get your ass handed to you at the races! :P

Reg,
If you know anyone with a vibratory/tumbler polisher/debburring machine that has a coarse media in it see if they will toss it in for you. I did one like that years back and the finish is really nice, smooth but not shiny, and a nice consistent pattern in and out.

Here's an example of the finish on steel, comes out a little smoother looking in aluminum.

Here is what I have done so far ( not much ) but I am trying to get the balance right.

The B4 castor blocks and the B4 rear hubs step the car out a bit on the track width, not too much
but more than the b4 rear wheels, which I may have to go with anyway :?:

But as of now I like what I see, and the car is square with the front and rear width's

Looking for B3 rear wheels if anyone comes across some

The Thunder Tiger Phoenix BX is a B3 clone and the wheels are a direct fit

I know that it should be more responsive on turn in, and rotate more off the corner with the rear tucked in a bit, but ( and I might be able to give her a shakedown run in NY next week ) I have a feeling that at the VONATS the race will be won by the smoothest and most consistent car, more that the loosest and fastest.

But....................More steering is easy to find

and it's only about 1/4" wider int he front than a RPM worlds kit ( and can be made another 1/4 wider via shouldered axles )

And about 3/8 wider in the rear than an RPM worlds kit

And weren't some guys making the rear end with T2 blocks, Dynotech arms and 10t carriers?
that has to be hella wider than mine

Nice car Reg! Did you have to modify anything to get the B4 rear carriers and castor blocks to fit?

You have to drill out the castor blocks to accept the 1/8" pins, and the same for the rear blocks, other than that--no changes.

And what is it with the Canadians asking dumb questions about holes?
