Back in the early 80s when the RC10 first reached the UK the team drivers chopped an inch off the front of the chassis to bring the wheelbase down to 250mm, the same as every other car on the market at the time.

There was never a problem mounting a standard servo further back in the car as they all ran the batteries across the chassis which is the proper standard old school RC10 setup, with the ESC mounted on the shock tower. Also allows variable weight distribution as the chassis comes with 3 different locations for the battery holders.

Here we go, all done apart from the cockpit. Everything dyed black and I reckon it looks pretty good compaired to how I received it :D

Just need to double check the electrics as on a test run in the street it lost control and smacked into the kerb, breaking both front wheels :cry: bummer.

Easy fix though, then it's off to the beach with some of my Tamiyas.
