All motors use the Novak Havoc Spec ESC - one is rated for 2S, the other 3S. I don't think either has boost - at least I don't know if they do or not! Simple units work better for me.

I am working toward getting off the boost (lol, that sounds funny)...

The series I start in late march is a "no boost" class. I am going to start (17.5) @ 25~27/72 in the buggy. Soon as I pick up a 72, I will start experimenting.

Thanks for the all the info throughout this thread.

Admitting you have a problem with boost is a good sign
