I have been scratch building for many years, but I have been so busy in these last years, that I have had no time to build, and very little time to race. I am really pushing (at the expense of family, work, house, -the usual) to get it together this season though

. This was one of the hurdles that I needed to get over as my manual machining skills pale compared to my 3D modeling skills. Thanks for the input, I have two other mills I plan on working with. A Taig manual, and a scratch built unit that is all ball screws and linear roller bearings. It is a really nice high end unit, that I am putting together from pieces (industrial and medical surplus). If and when I finish it, I will post pics (it will be a while though). -Jeff
