Nope, those have a different cage among other things.wts873 wrote:thunder tiger challenger
Its a Kyosho Rowdy Baja if the plates on either side of the engine are metal.
As everyones aware there were many little companies back in the day that made knock-offs of various Tamiya, Kyosho, etc... models, and the Rowdy Baja was no exception. The easiest way to tell if its an authentic Rowdy Baja or a fake are the plates on either side of the engine. The knock-offs will be of a fiber type material.
Now if its an authentic one there were two versions. One had a diff gear and was called the Extra Rowdy Baja or Rowdy Baja Extra. It can be said either way. The diff gear version is more sought after for obvious reasons.

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Thats not the original engine but it won't affect the price. I was talking about the plates on either side of the engine. The ones that encompass the whole back of the buggy. The ones in the picture you posted look correct.
Well in that condition I've seen them go on eBay for $300-$500. They could go for more or less of course. It all depends whose looking at the time. Its really tough to find one complete and in good condition anymore such as that one appears to be. With anything else I would try to get it as cheap as possible. Maybe offer $150 and see what happens.
I can't afford a complete one so I've been looking for one thats missing things as I have a bunch of parts left over from mine.
Also here are the manuals...

Spot on with the Tunder Tiger I have a couple, later model,as earlier didn't have a top deck, the steering servo mounted on the main chassis, the shocks are probably purple alloy? my Ferrari has those.

Yeah, its not one but they are similar since the Thunder Tiger Challengers a clone. Blue Bird made a clone as well called the Conqueror.

I remember that nerf wing being part of the chassis on some car from years ago. Is it maybe one of the old S&K cars??Soncho Ponza wrote:IS this A bolink......[/img]
