you'll have to just search ebay for the tires. i got the rears from there, and the fronts i got from another member. i don't remember the part numbers anymore, since that was like 3 1/2-4 years ago.

the fronts are for the 1.5 rim size, and say knobby on the sidewall.

3) be prepared to open your wallet for that if you can find one
How much are these going for lately?
the last one i saw on ebay went for almost $50.00, and i've seen them go higher.
I sold one for $40 NIB about 2 weeks ago on the Bay. Got it in a lot of stuff and saw another one for $40 and dug the one I had out. It sold within the first hour I listed it...they do come available every now and then.

I'm hoping to get the items for this before I start to do the build, and I really want to start building it even though I should take my time to enjoy the build time.
Just want to thank everyone that has been helping me out, you guys really are the best forum community around.

Thanks LTODave,
I got one donated to this project by a wonderful long time friend, Miguel Vicens who offered his up for the sake of this build.
I sent him a unique and rare item for his buggy as a thank-you for this generous offer.
Thanks again for everyone's help.
Soon I will start to post up pictures and progress of the replica build, but I am waiting on some things to arrive still.

Close-up of Jay's 1985 Worlds Winning Car with some thing I noticed. Upon closer observation of this picture (at work I have a much bigger image and can see the outermost holes for the shocks), he already has his rear shocks in one hole position from the original stock position, these screws are in a 3rd possible inner position.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. That's what we are doing on the B4 these days too. Adding a 4th hole and laying the top of the rear shock over a little more.

and don't forget the pinned diff and the 1/2" hole (give or take) on the inside of the rear arms.

Great eyes scr8p!

I have been in a little shock for the last few hours, as I just found a box in a back bedroom storage area that had some very old VHS tapes and in it I have a VHS tapes with recorded racing since 1985. In fact I have the 1985 IFMAR 1/10 Worlds recorded on one Scotch VHS tape. Had to find my VCR and it looks like everything is great still, I just need to buy a head cleaner for this vcr tomorrow. Well I have from the track prep, and the I-Main all the way up to the A1-Main, Concourse, Some video of Jay's 4WD RC10 in the pits and in action on the track, then A2-Main, B-Main and the last A3-Main.
For the life of me I cannot remember how I got this tape of the race.
I'll have to figure out how to get this on my computer so I can put it onto a CD.
