Tiger1, I can't find any article or related materials on the ABC Piste and its development nor much material on Masami's handmade ABC 1/12th. A very good example is the current 1/12th Team Associated rc12R5.1 vrs Yokomo's R12. Although they are two different cars, they both share some very high degree of engineering. In fact, on Yokomo's website: http://www.teamyokomo.com/jpn/index.htm you can order the Team Associated car also. So here is my question, which one came first between the two...better yet, does it matter which one came first in production...or was Masami involved in the engineering at the very early stage of the Associated car. Also keep in mind that Masami drove Team Associated cars...Yokomo never were into making 2WD buggies...only 4WD. Masami also drove Team Associated 1/12th cars....it had not been too long ago that Yokomo came up with their own 1/12th. Lastly, the point I really wanted to make here in the thread is that Masami and his father were well verse in the r/c business. Okay, so which came first, the chicken or the egg?
