And here she is:

Barely a scratch on the bottom...once I clean this baby up, it's going on the shelf for sure. It's my first time handling one of these buggies, and it simply amazes me how technologically advanced they were in 1984.

Took the front end apart today, these old trucks are quite a bit more complicated than I thought, the steering especially

This restoration is going to be slow and easy, but I hope it will be nice and minty when I get done. The wheels have already been polished once, with a few more times to go.

i love takin these to the track with me and people going wow whats that. only a few older guys spot these right off. even a few that remeber these forget what they were like under the shell outa the box. Even if im not gona run it, still nice to bring along for their heritage

$50 or so later, I have a FT screw kit coming, along with all the parts I could buy to make the front end basically new.
