Mine will never get it. Hell, he will drive 8 miles out of his way just to save 2 cents/gallon on gas. :?

Another RAD fan here. I have it on VHS. The flatland riding during the ending credits was the best part of that movie. And the soundtrack...sweet!

And who can forget Hell Track?

Rad rules. I give this movie credit for giving e the urge to break my neck trying to learn how to flip.

I didn't think it was, but I found this link. I'm not 100% sure it was ever officially released on DVD. There has been talk about it at IMDB for years. I doubt they would link to a bootleg though so I would have to think it's legit. If it is out it had to have happened less than a year ago.

this is vintage:

I always thought The BMX freestyle riding paralleled skateboard freestyle. Mullins gets with it:

And from the same timeframe as RAD:

Man, I'm glad the eighties are over...

Not only does this site have the best R/C help on the net, but it also helps find Rad on DVD :P ..

Maybe we should give Scott a little privacy, you know, just until the movie is over.
I've actually never seen BMX Bandits. I did see Rad back when it was out. I can't sit through most cheesy 80's movies any more. I'd rather be out riding my bike. 8)

I don't think there is an official Rad dvd, but I know there are bootlegs available from various places.

It's really not the run of the mill cheesy 80's movie--and they have tires and mags in matching colors

I miss my Free Agent frame, 3-piece Cooks Cranks, Odyssey Brake, Peregrine 48 spoke rims, Bear headset. Put it together myself from one of those magazine order pages in BMX Plus.
