I am at work and was hoping for a break to reality.... guess I will have to wait until I get home later this evening for that break.

So before I get into the recap of Saturday qualifying I have a few things I've learned:

1: Hoopty only owns one hat, all his tshirts are black and he loves to eat the last ice cream, sandwich or soda in front of you and taunt you with it.

2: Melvin NEVER lands on all fours.

3: Not matter how much you THINK you're ready... you're not.

4: I'm a pit hog... seriously Hoop has had to work in .75 of a pit while I sprawl faster than the outlying area of Vegas

5: Hoopy is actually a Yeti. Every picture of him, OR his truck is indecipherable or blurry.. the man is truely an urban legend

6: Your hair CAN and WILL smell like dirty within 3 hours of being here

7. You CANNOT mix 30wt and 40wt oil to make 35!!!

8: People from TN are ALWAYS friendly

9: My girlfriend does a pretty damn good job taking pictures

So with that said we're all having a great time, wish you guys were all here but since you can't be (and I'll never forgive you for that) here are some results and pics from day one

Am I the only one that can't see Erich's pics?

I tried taking some action shots, but didn't get a single one out of 40 or so that was worth posting. It is tough getting a clear shot of such a small and fast moving object, I have much respect for those that make it look easy. I'll try again tomorrow, hopefully I can get some decent shots of 10talk members in action

I get a whole lot of red x's

the images are all cmyk, thats why inet explorer wont open, when converted to rgb they are fine.

IE= red x's, but firefox opens them fine.

so how do the rest of us see the pics?

i seem to remember somebodys yellow boss hat.

heres my camera dump, no descriptions of alot of crap that just takes forever to view, but its better than nothing and i'm too tired to edit.

it took me awhile to figure out that the spots are just dust.
