Cool, thanks for all the info guys. I'm going to be getting me a 2.4 for my RC 300. I'll probably keep one of my Mag JR's just for nostalgia's sake.
Once again, Thanks, guys.

The Spektrum DX2.0 DSM 2.4Ghx. has been doing well for me these last couple months. It's a solid entry level 2 channel system in 2.4Ghz and can be found for $99.00 at it's cheapest. The Rx has a very short antenna so you can avoid cutting a hole in the lid. Another good thing about it is the antenna won't get yanked out in a crash. It's roughly 4.5 inches yet it yields outstanding performance.
There is only one issue I have with the system. It only has a 2 model memory so if you have a large collection, you may want to spend a bit more and go to a 3.0. The 3.0 has a 10 model memory and a few more features for about $40 more. My T4 and one of my 10Ts run on the DX2.0 DSM. All my other stuff are running older Futaba and KO systems which will soon be replaced with all 2.4Ghz units. What ever you decide on, go 2.4Ghz and don't look back.
