It's the Proline Helios body, it's made for rock crawlers.

I found a bunch of old R/C pictures today from some of the cars I've had over the years. Here is a couple of photos of the "Warthog" prior to it's current make over.
It's the (then) Triumph trans'd, Rampage (?) chassis'd, Ultima everything else'd Frankenstein yellow Baja on the left. Most of the parts were later swapped out & combined with a very worn Pro XL chassis to produce the Warthog project.
I'm guessing these are from about 1996. The truck on the right is a RC10 SS conversion that was done up in a "Tool Time/Binford Tools" racing scheme. I miss that truck, but it was worth the trade I had made. I traded it years ago for the B2 that would later become the RC10 B2.5 Baja bug that's posted elsewhere.

He's almost got the interior done.
Will try to get better photos posted tomorrow.
This one may be submitted to Car Action & Bungie when finished.
I'm proud of him!

For a 11 year old to have the patience and vision to do that I'd be proud too

! Great job!
I'm sure if you send pictures of it in they will feature it somehow, someway when they find out a 11 year old kid did it.

Tip: with the black body wheels and tires you'll have a strong tendency of having either over-exposure on the background or underexposure on the car.
If you make the pics on a less sunny day they 'll probably turn out nicer.
Keep up the good work

The "Sidewinder" level in Halo is one of my son's favorites.
Thanks to today's weather, these shots sort of come close..

Wow, I never saw this build until you posted that link about Krylon Fusion paint in a recent thread...fantastic modding and fabricating going on here, well done! This is what modding is all about--be it computer cases or RC cars--pick a theme, spare no attention to detail, and get 'r done! This impresses me way more than ho-hum box-arts and replicas, which don't involve much in the way of creativity or imagination. Awesome.
