I have one too. Bought it new in opened box a couple months ago off epay. I assembled it because the seal was broken. If it wasn't it would still be in the box. I paid appx $450 for it. 6 gear tranny no stealth holes.

I have one from when I was young. I didn't use it much and it was in my parents basement for 12 or so years. Last year I got it back and restored it...well I made it so that I would like to run it today and then put it on a shelf. Oh, and I got good rear tires for it since that picture.

Wow, some nice cars being shown off here.....sounds like the stealth tranny version is the holy grail!

Chuffed with mine though, and will try to do it justice when I build it....might need to get in touch with RACER88.. for a painted body though. That guy does some great work!

Speaking of boxart, does anyone know what shocks and shock collars were used on the original RC10 box art? The shocks are unanodized aluminium and the shock collars are gold anodized. Anyone know if it is possible to get hold of these?

I just stumbled across this thread I just picked up a 6036 kit it is not new in the box but very light use and I got the box with all the paperwork and brand new decals the car came with the stealth tranny and ball bearings as well as universals. the car is 99% mint I just got the car tore down today and I have washed all the white parts and got them in mason jars full of hydro proc.

I ordered a custom works cage and body my plan was to cut this graphite chassis down to fit the cage now im woundering if I should just hang on to it in its original form I got new rims and new extra AE tires with the car as well as a bunch of new parts as well.

What do yall think I should do ?
