I really like the use of what appears to be the hand mill for the slot in the rear of the chassis tub, to allow the fore-aft braces to slide through...

I also really like the bends in the front of those fore-aft braces, by the front of the chassis. Was a brake used?

.89 threaded shock bodies
.71 shafts
team car arms
rpm spring cups
B3 wheels

[Rear]
Fibre Lyte 94 worlds shock strut
Dynotech Klein arms
1.18 threaded shock bodies
1.02 shafts

I tried B4 wheels and axles. but this setup allowed me bigger thread.

Question to all of you that are actually racing this old/new RC10,

How are they actually on the track against the new B4 and XXX?
How do they compare in the air on big jumps? Back in the days we did not have large triple jumps like we do know.

I am planning on starting mine very soon but might go a different direction depending on the answers I get.
Thanks.

Brandon I love that body, you did a outstanding paint job their, very clean and the colors work well together. with out being gaudy like alot of them are at least to me, I really like it.

After rebuilding my Composite Craft/Houge car I got the urge to build a replica of the car I ran at the 1988 nationals. The original car had VERY large holes in the chassis (3 on each side of the bottom) that were drilled with a hole saw. If I remember right they were 1" and 1.25". I decided there would be no holes in this one. The original also had Brimod shocks, which I simply can not find.

Front

Associated wide arms (original had Andy's)
B4 caster blocks
B4 steering knuckles
B4 axle
TBG graphite shock tower
Stock shocks

Rear

Andy's arms
Racer's Edge carriers
B44 CVD'S
TBG shock tower
stealth tranny with B4 top shaft

The chassis from the donor car was in pretty good shape before it was re-anodized blue. All the imperfections were covered by the new color.
