American Top Gear
Re: American Top Gear
most us rip off shows suck! Like Ramseys Kitchecn Nightmares on the BBC is so much better than his american version. Why do you need a narrator that is not Ramsey! I love that show. The us also tried making their own MXC or something. Ok, they both were lame as hell.. But funny

Part of what makes the Brit stuff so much fun to watch is that they're not worried about offending someone. Americans have lost their sense of humor and the ability to take a joke.

Some good names have been thrown out. I like the idea of Leno, talk about a man passionate about cars.
The STIG, that would be a hard choice. though he has done several shows, Foust would be up there. I also like Gittin Jr of Formula D fame. I wouldn't have anyone in NASCRASH be a driver.
LOL How about Danica?

Re: American Top Gear
The ex-football player/pro wrestler(and a great one) Steve Goldberg is seriously into muscle cars. I don't know if he's into modern stuff, but his muscle collection is sweet. I wouldn't mind seeing him on there. I think the reason the U.S. version might not be as good is because there will be 30 minutes of disclaimers before every segment so that some lawyer doesn't leap out and sue everyone!
