It will look good. I have a similar car in my build shop right now. I'm still missing a few parts and I have tons of assembly to do but I'll post a pic of my status soon.

was just wondering about turnbuckles...will a set of B4 turnbuckles work, or is their some odd lengths involved somewhere?

as with any custom build, mock it up using old turnbuckles and ball cups. measure, then order the size you need.

makes sense , I guess I'm taking all the fun out of it by asking so many questions. you sure make it cheaper for me though . so far I only wasted $20 on that A&L tower, which I think I might put in my RC10 graphite. I'm just glad I can finally put mrlexan's stealth tranny to use after buying it from him months ago.

ok...here is another question, I hope I'm not annoying anyone. Can I use a GT noseplate instead of a 10T noseplate? There are a lot more GT plates on ebay than 10Ts

ya, they're the same thing. just make sure they have the 2 sets of mounting points so the plate can be attached in the short wheelbase position.

also, that made remember that you'll have to drill and tap 2 new holes farther up on the 10t/gt nose brace tubes to compensate for the shorter wheelbase.

will the white rims fit a b3?

I just got started on my old, but newer associated 2wd buggy...here is what I got so far.
I got many more parts to come and a lot more sanding & drilling to do on the chassis , I even have a few old dyed yellow RC10 parts to dye black

I order the wrong bearings from Avid , is there a bearing that fits a rear 10GT hub with a B44 rear CVA kit I ended up with the ones for the RPM hub and B44 CVA

The bearings you need are 3/16" x 1/2":

those are the ones I have ... the outside diameter (1/2) is too big for the RC10GT rear hub, I think I need the 3/8" o.d. - 3/16" i.d. bearings for the RC10GT rear hub

Sorry about that - I misread what you typed. You are correct on the size for the AE GT hubs.

Here is an update on my chassis...I got it powder coated black with a added hardner to it, so no more worrying about scratches and it looks like new it's come a long way from where it used to be. I am thinking about drilling some 1/2" holes in it along each side of the battery tray, but not sure yet.
Here are some pics for now..waiting on parts is painfull. I'll post more when I get more done
