I hope you're right, $550 would be a pretty good deal for that truck.

$550 thats a good dream to have  id think of buying it.. 3 speeds that tamiya retails $722 sell for $440 .. so i dont see how a rc that retails for about $1300 will sell for anything less then $650.. anyone find out a real cost please post.. ive been checking tower but no luck.. in a way i hope it sells for $1000 this way i dont want to buy it.. if its $650 i may think about buying it.. i really wish they made a single speed bruiser for $400

So, is it likely that the 3-speed transmission will come pre-assembled like the original?

I think from the side it may look "Shrunk" like compacted, if that makes sense. Also, I wonder if it would have looked better on the TA-02 chassis like the F-150 and Toyota trucks?

-sorry meant to add this to my prior post.

No Sir, I don't like it. The stance is all wrong. This is what the real 2006 CORR truck looked like:

They aren't released yet but I'm willing to bet that 12m after release they'll be below $600 :) Some guy already had it on preorder for a tad less than that last week...

i dont understand why they do this? another tamiya wrong chassis/body combo. in my mind the cc-01 chassis was made to be a scale corr truck.. almost every body on that cc-01 chassis wrong(i.f.s 70s bronco).. when i saw the release of this truck i thought if its on a cc-01 chassis i may have to buy it..

Maybe because it's cost-efficient and most RC'ers don't know any better? How do you think Tamiya became #1??? ;)

The b2b is like a unicorn, that needs to stay a fairy tale that it was. that is the last really unique car that tamiya hasn't repoopd.
