Hey Paul, that's real cool indeed. If that body is original I'd search along the lines of ABC (the japanese brand, not the alphabet).
There's a good collection of different brands of 12th scales in that german rc-museum site

It's got pan car wheels and a gear diff on the back. Chassis is aluminium and i don't know if the body is original to the chassis or not, it's cool though. Any ideas?

The chassis is a "BM110" made by a company called "Benfa" back in the 1990s, according to my 1996 issue of the French Auto RCM catalogue of all RC cars released in France that year. In France it was distributed by "Air Loisirs".

The Stratos body is not shown; however it apparently also came with a Mercedes C-Class DTM, Alfa Romeo 155, Opel Calibra DTM, or Audi A4 DTM body.

Edit: Google tells me Benfa is Italian (explains the Stratos maybe) and the car was originally released in 1990.

Fantastic, thanks for the ID. This is why this forum is awesome :D

The shell needs a bit of a repaint as a few bits have flaked off, but i've always loved the Lancia Stratos.

Paul.

For the body, might be this one from Chevron models:

That blue tamiya piece and sway bars got to the TT01. I think you have to run a carbon upper deck to use them. Don't know if it is F or R though.

The rim was molded thin, with as little webbing and extra material as possible. As memory serves me the "holes" are the reverse side of the pin face.

Great rims, but if you installed them slightly off the pin or had a locknut failure they were toast immediately.

Looks like a heavily modified Kyosho spider (the first in line of Touring Force cars)
Basically a turbo optima mid with shorter arms shocks and drive axles.
The arms and chassis plus top-plate, aswell as the moterplate, are all non-original.
