Um, no... I'd take a cab forward body over that. The timing is perfect though, I can see that thing going out as Frankenstein tonight!!

Rake that windshield back where it belongs (IMHO) like the second photo above and I'll buy a couple of them!! How hard can it be to reprofile the buck and offer both??

The wheels are a lot less offensive than the body.

I appreciate the effort to produce some retrostyle stuff but come on.

I have seen a lot worst back when the RC10 was a dime a dozen. I have seen some of the vintage bodies used here at this forum that make me gag at the very least.

Jeff texted me a photo of his body today and I must say they look nice. Paint will definitely tone down some of the sharp lines you guys are talking about.

The way I see it, pick one up from JConcepts. Show your support for them, supporting us with some cool parts. The tires alone is where its going to be at for those of us who are actually going to put the cars in the dirt.

The body...

Here's a few of one of mine mounted. I also included a couple pics of one next to a Protech for comparison. As I said before, this body isn't for everyone. When I first saw it I will admit I was disappointed. Having seen some of the stuff that has come out of the JC lab, I expected something different. I think we all did. Once I got past my initial shock the body started to grow on me. If nothing else the portion that passes over the rear shock tower is shaped in such a way that it is much stronger than the Protech and the Mirage bodies.

The tires and wheels are a hit with me. The rear are 1.7 and the fronts are 1.9. They are only planning to produce green Double Dees and green Rips until the market shows a demand for more. Lets hope the vintage thing catches on so more parts are produced through the aftermarket.

Sorry, not diggin' the cab-upward body. But I do like the wheels and tires.

Cab upward lmfao! I think the cab forehead could catch on too.

I love the front, nose, sides and back. The "A" pillar....just can't get past it. I keep seeing a dwarf car

Green double dees and and rips is perfect for my local track! I'll take several sets. What is the ETA on them?

As ugly as I find that body, I do agree with you on this point... it's great that they're filling a demand for a product from a very small number of people...

I just realized why they all it the detonator. Stuff it full of M80 firecrackers and let it rip
