Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Am I right in my assumption that these are Duratrax aluminum rims? I've had them for years and didn't know what they were until seeing what looked like them here.
Also what tires fit well on these rims? Those are a pair of 2.1 Proline Striker IV's on them but they are just a tad too big and fit sloppily.
EDIT: I think I know what the problem is. According to this they're 1.9 rims. Thats why the 2.1 tires are a little loose.

The buggy looks like something from MRC, the little one I'm not sure of though.

I'd say kyosho for the small one. Duratrax evader for the other perhaps, or a chinese half-clone

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
The center looks a bit too big for the ultima bearings.
Looks more like a fox or wild-one size, but yeah, you could get 5mm axles from a couple different manufacturers for the ultima: to do just that: mount tamiya front wheels

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
The red chassis isn't hot trick but I believe an aftermarket for the frog? Something along the line of red prince or something like that. Had to ask the same of that chassis I got awhile back before this thread appeared

Re: The Official "What is it?" Thread
Have been searching for my thread with the answers but its pry gone with the autoprune...its been awhile but will drop a line with some info soon.
found my old thread...there are some links with some cool info about it. I had the same idea when I seen the chassis that it was an rc10 front end and make for a really tight turnin car .
