I hear that!

I found that no matter how much control I tried to hand over to the Mamba, it still allows me to blow stuff up. Throttle finger control seems to be the only way, and that is not an easy thing to do-- it's just too much fun! :D

   I know.

I got a RC10L project started, maybe it will end up in that and I can get something a bit more sensible for this one.

nice-- I have two hanging on the wall that I'm looking to build, too!

Wow-- I'm thinking a hot brushed motor with a 2 cell lipo will be hard enough to keep down. I can't imagine putting this kid of power in a pan car-- one thing's for sure-- a very large, flat & smooth surface will be needed! Have you seen something like that run?

I got a question about this wicked beast. What shocks did you use on front and rear? I'm asking simply because I may just build a similar machine from the B3 buggy I have. That should keep me sated till I can build another gold pan based one. I already know I'm placing an order with full force rc for a sheet of cf to make some towers for both the B3 and my gold pan.

This is the group of parts I began this project with...got it off of ebay for a good price. A front and rear suspension setup for a 10T, so they 10T it is. I swapped the original ones out for all matching gold, but they are still 10T shocks.

It is a fun buggy when I'm not stripping stuff. I also swapped out the top drive assembly for a B4 top drive, but it still smoked the B4 slippers. I turned the slippers around to make sure I destroy both sides before replacing them though

Thanks for the info man! Now I need to find myself either a spare gold pan or some cf to make a chassis from and some T parts! Granted mine won't be as over powered lmao.

I think I have reread this thread 30 times. There is Something about that buggy that is just perfect. It just looks awesome, the colors are awesome, the front shock tower is awesome, the proportions are cool, it has a mean stance.....

I guess I wanted to tell you it is an inspiration.
Thanks.

thanks clay, glad ya thank it's awesome. If i were to do anything to improve the looks at all, it would be to change out the chassis to a composite craft one to match the upper plate. But, this was built for fun on the beach, not looks, which still turned out nice.

Finally did something I wanted to do for over 15+ years... I added driving lights to an RC10 :D

Of course it couldn't be a RC10 that I wanted to be competitive so this build was perfect. I got some lights for a Losi night crawler that I thought I would use on my Comp Crawler, but in the end I wanted the crawler to be competitive too. They finally have a purpose for them and I love the look they add to this car.

I'm not sure...but an endurance race sounds cool. I will have to mount up the GoPro and get a short video. Probably wont be until tomorrow night though. I took out the Mamba Max system and temporarily have a Novak M1 with a 19T motor installed. I have some bugs to work out but should have it running soon.
