Does anyone know if the B2 idler is the same?
Back off your case screws 1/8th to a 1/4 turn from fully tight. Use a tiny bit of blue lock tight on the tip (the part that threads into the plate) of the screw. Test for change in how free your tranny is after each screw. Some screws may not need backing off! You have a few minutes to perfect this before the BLUE lock tight sets!

Cheers Rod - it's actually an issue with no screws at all as the 2 casing halves snap together if that makes sense?

I have a vintage new Stealth case which I might try but it seems crazy to have to fit old parts to a new car to get the transmission smooth.

Dan,

You might not be crazy, I had a problem with the tranny case on my AE Replaced it and the tranny works great now. Worst case, the stealth case is 6USD. But I would contact them first. Try to get a hold of Don, his is really good and will take care of it!

Can anyone share whi know someone at AE that can assist me? Sent an email to Ae support like 3-4 weekks ago,got a reply like 2-3 days later then asked for the reciept, was able to provide days later. Then after that no reply.sent an email if my replacement top shaft if already sent, got a reply that address was incomplete, duh, was looking for a city here in Singapore.after confirming that address was correct,no reply was recieved if they already sent my replacement top shaft.

Kit is sidelined for a month...support sucks bigtime...

I found that call worked better for me. Try emailing [email protected] or [email protected].

Nick was the one who replied to me on my email., for [email protected] , got no reply. well I guess I have to wait it out and don't want to pay for the Long distance call that will maybe cost more than the parts itself.. lol...

I ran in my gbox last night with an 8.5 fitted. It's now much smoother thankfully! :)

Through June 28, Tower Hobbies is selling the kit for $260. If you are a Super Saver member, there is an additional $35 off making the kit $225.

Hobby People has it for $229 without any membership needed. I think its only for a day or two.

A few weeks ago AMain was giving a free 5800mah 100c 2s Protek Lipo with it. Including the coupon code, it was 251 bucks to my door. Couldn't resist that one n got myself a second.

With that one, I sent Nick an email n didn't get a response back. ( I thought they might be ducking a brotha) .....a little over a week later,a b4 top shaft showed up in the mail as mentioned above. I'm sure yours is on it's way.

It's been in the box now for a few weeks......I wanna build it, but don't know what to do with it (as far as the build). I already have one built so I don't wanna build the exact same thing....n I'm on the clueless side when it comes to builds.
Some gold big bore shocks would be nice....(so would wide white arms).....I'll just have to figure it out.
Should be fun.

Just watch the tranny, if it sticks after you get the top shaft let me know at AE. You might need a new tranny case. Since I got my Tranny, my car runs like a bat out of h*ll! I am currently running a Tekin 17.5 and I am thinking about picking up a 13.5T (I got the SPEC ESC and it will only run up to a 13.5). I am not sure what AE did with the design of this car, but my CE is setup about the same as my worlds (shocks, tires, and the CE had a faster motor), and it's like night and day difference in handling. The worlds handles so much better then the CE does. To the point I am thing about putting my CE on EBay and getting a second worlds.

For those of you that installed the retro Lunsford turnbuckles, and even the stock ones, why do the rear turnbuckles seem a little short? Like they should thread in just a little more for better security.

I said that in the parts thread. They should be 1 5/8" like the front. The rere bulkhead isn't drilled like the old worlds bulkhead.
