My name is Anthony, I'm 31, from Kentville, Nova Scotia, Canada.

I work in western Canada (AB & BC) as a well-site geologist, therefore I spend 1/2 my time home and 1/2 on oil rigs.

I got a beautiful wife who probably would like it if I didn't post her picture, in fact I'm not going to attempt it. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats that make up for not having kids yet.

My first RC car was a RC10 goldpan which I am currently restoring. I've owned a Taymia Hornet, Kyosho Hi-Rider and Radier, and a RC10 graphite (is on this site under "Project Graphite")...the goldpan is coming soon.

Other interest include photography, I have at least a dozen vintage cameras, and off roading.

Hi! My name is Rod, I am 39 but I think I'm 12. I have a lovely wife (Married 19 years) and two kids 17 (girl) 14 (boy). I live in the fantastic city of Calgary. I am a manager at the largest hobbyshop in Canada (top 5 in North America). I have been in the hobby for a very long time. My first "good" rc car was a 1984-85 RC10. I have 2 ROAR national titles. I am into all forms of motor sports. My son races MX and most my extra time is spent racing or wrenching.

I collect vintage slotcars (Aurora). Just started collecting vintage RC. My love is Associated as they are the ones that got me in this mess. lol! I collect pre independence Jamaican stamps (first post office in the western hemisphere even before the good old USA or Canada). I am into all forms of RC and have, crawlers, trailrigs, buggies, trucks, drift, touring, Mini's (TCS), 12 scale, boats, aircraft, tanks (lots of tanks  ).

I like guns, fishing, camping, riding single track and DS motorcycles, watching Flames hockey and playing PS3 with my kids. I love Toyota and will buy nothing else (hope they do better in F1)! I love Honda motorcycles and I am brand loyal to them as well. Nuff said!

This is a fantastic forum and I am happy that I found it, thanks for having me.

Just realized I never put myself on this thread, so here it is!

31 y.o. design aftermarket suspension and driveline components for Audi vehicles, prior to that managed a vintage motorsports shop and before that was a crew chief on a Toyota Atlantic team before getting burnt out on the travel. The charming vixen in the picture is my other half Alisha, we also have a 10 year old, cyrus, and a chiauaua.

I'm Erik....36yrs old, Live in Joliet, IL 3 Boys, 1 girl

Been racing on and off since the early 80's

Started with a Tamiya Frog, then moved up to a RC10....then various renditions of the RC10....Houge A-arms chassis, MIP Trans, you know the rest.....

Got a JRX2 when it first came out, ran the 5-link for a while, then A-Arm conversion.....

Dropped RC for a bit....

got a Losi XX Buggy ran for a bit (now can't find it)

Dropped RC for a bit....

Bought a XXX-NT Drake Edition to get back into racing, and got my oldest 2 boys XXX-NT RTR's.....they had interest....in seeing who could smack the truck up first into the wall...that's about it.

Dropped RC for a bit....

Got into Nitro again for a while, 1/8th buggies, Monster Trucks, on-road cars.....got tired of all the maintenance and cleanup...

Dropped RC for a bit....

Just got in again with a Losi Speed-T I'm converting to a Mid Motor, to run stadium truck at my local track (eventually). I have
been parting out Losi RTR's and other vehicles on eBay to help pay for this round of my hobby, and suddenly decided I really
wanted some of my first vehicles back again.....RC10 & Jrx2.....I also would like a Tamiya Frog, but those are new at Tower Hobbies
as a re-release, so I'm not too much in a hurry to drop 150$ on a Frog right now

I'd still like to find a Marui Samurai as well, as I had that as a kid in Jr High.

Yaehelloooo, my name is Ken. I live in Evansville, Indiana. 34 and job title is "Planner".
Basically put together trips for a large van line. Love it to be honest. It's like working a puzzle. :)
Been in R/C for 25 yrs off and on. My first good r/c was a Tyco Indy Car(it really was a nice car!)
My first "hobby car" was a Tamiya Hornet. Bought it from a friend for $20/month paper route money. Went thru a few Tamiyas then got a TQ10 at 12 or 13 maybe? Blew me away. Still have it and it is by far my favorite car. It has been thru every conversion imaginable. My freinds and I all bought nothing but Associated while we had a track here(indoor asphalt oval). Burned down TWICE! Then closed. Now I mostly just stare at my cars and occasionally run them. I like working on them better than driving them. I have a 4 year old daughter and I can't wait to let her start breaking them! My daughter and my wife are everything to me. Although, I do love a good vintage piece of r/c. And one last thing, I have all my thumbs, but started the user id a long time ago and stuck with it. No disrespect intended...

I guess it's about time I showed my ugly mug. My name is Gary and I'm 48 going on 3. I do my best not to act like a child but it's a struggle every day! I've been married to my first wife for 25 years this August. (Where did all that time go?) We have two kids, a daughter that is 23 and a son, 19. Oh and a 6 month old chocolate lab that is much like taking care of a baby. I work in aircraft manufacturing in Seattle, care to guess who for? I got into rc first in 1987, then got out a few years later - too expensive for me at the time. I had a Super Champ, sadly I thought it was a turd and sold it about the time i bought my RC10. I just recently got back into rc and I'm glad i found this group! I'm not into rtr stuff much, I like the satisfaction of building my own. Anyway, here is me and my family in Arches National Park last year. I'm the dork in the white shirt. The goofy guy on the right is my little brother.
Hobbies besides RC are classic cars and building paper models (I know, not very manly but it's relaxing and amazing what you can make from paper!) I also am an avid computer gamer along with my son.

Professional Carny and Sign & Graphics shop owner, collector of
1) Old paper money
2) Old cars & 1 Jeep
3) as many RC vehicles as my shop will hold
4) as many NIP old stock parts as my bins will hold

Don't race as much as I like to, Built a medium sized off road track in the side yard for my sons 4yr old B-day
and he ran his 10t for 8 hrs a day,---for all of two days, then decided he'd rather wait until he is 5
and have a 200' medium bank carolina clay oval in the other side for testing & development since the "local"
track is 3 hrs away, and of course my picture
