Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
Very small update. I wanted to get some decals back on the chassis. Although not 100% correct, I put 2 yellow MIP decals on the sides of the chassis. Also put back the decals that were on it when I got it as well as the MIP & 4-10 on the transmission brace. Also cleaned up one of the modified Peak motors. Not sure if this is the correct motor or not? If this does not look era correct, let me know.

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
Well, I believe I have found Thomas Hightower on Facebook. I am just waiting to see if he responds to me. He is friends with Masami, Rick Howart, Mark Pavidis, etc, etc. Pretty sure it is him.

Just this morning my brand new M5 arrived. I just opened the factory seal with a scalpel. Looks lovely and retro. I will be mounting it in my carbon RC10 soon. Now I just need another sealed one for spares

That is good to hearPhin wrote:Joel Johnson's '91 winning RC12LW used a 410-M5.
A caption under one of the pics in the RCCA article on the car called the M5 "the best ESC without a torque limiter."

This is one of those pure gold projects here on rc10talk.com that I would like to see way more often these days. Keep up the good work building the car and also collecting information about it. Projects like this keeps me coming back to this site every day.

Re: RC10 MIP 4-10 Legend Build
I can't find the name in the driver list, maybe the car was used by another driver...

Not bad at all. I am pretty happy with it.romulus22 wrote:That chassis looked pretty haggard but with the tranny and motor plate and stuff in there it really doesn't look too bad.

Yeah, go to the link below the picture, you can enlarge any of them from that thread... in the first batch of pics in that thread are pics of the mip pro se 4wd that is in the same article as your car... so there is one link!
