I'm not into these, never have been....but I must say that looks amazing! Even though I'm no nitro guy, I'd love that sitting on my shelf so I could stare at it.

I had this page bookmarked for many years because of the RC10GT photos. They all disappeared.

Does anyone have contact with the owner? Or the photos that could be re-loaded.

Thank you!

There’s a chance he might pop in from time to time and upload some new pictures. I doubt he will correct every picture though.

I forgot all about this thread. After skimming through briefly it all cane back. I thought I remember someone else on the board liked the same body and scheme I was just researching.

Thanks! Lets see what happens. The GT's... especially clean ones, are hard to find right now.

That they are. I feel bad selling off a couple of my nicer ones I’ve owned. But they were very similar to one I already own and they both went to a fellow GT collector so I feel better about that.

Hopefully Justinspeed pops in sometime. We need some more nitro truck guys around here.

Hopefully some of the pictures get fixed. Justinspeed was pretty active on here.

Now that similar threads pop up on the bottom of these pages it's good to go through some of the older builds.

Having watched GT's for many years the prices fluctuate quite a bit, there are times where they are dirt cheap and times where they are over priced. Todds latest "GT" was a total steal  so they are out there if your patient.

GT guys seem to be far and few between, but I think it has a special place in the hearts of people who grew up with them during their hayday.

I’ve picked up 2 GT’s recently. One under $200, one under $150. Both in incredibly good shape. Just need a little cleaning. They’re out there if you keep you’re eyes open and broaden your search terms. Not everyone is aware of what they have :D

New to the forum-was looking for advice on converting my Rc10gt - blue chassis to electric. It’s completely stock and still runs but haven’t used it at all in last 20 years. Have an indoor off-road carpet track nearby that my kids and I want to go to. The dynotech egt motor mount is on the way but think it might be better to just sell and use the money for a rtr b6.1. Thoughts?

If you already have the truck and the parts then try it out. From what I have seen lately, the older chassis's can compete with the newer stuff when setup right. Just need to prep it for carpet running.

yeah, doubt you'll see justinspeed around too much more. He asked to have his membership canceled awhile back. Never did it since it really left the door open if he ever did come back to drop by by just leaving his name active. I pm'd him awhile back about a white gt spur gear that I had for him surfaced again when I was doing some cleaning up and organizing but no replies...

Hope he drops by again someday. He's the one that steered me here from the CR rc10gt forums a few years ago 8)

I wonder what his issue is/was. Same thing with Marlo, Charlie and Dan, strange.

Not many of us GT guys left :(

Justin wasn't so much upset with anyone like with Dan but I'm guessing he just wanted to 'close the door' to keep from being pulled back in. He had no bad words about anything but just asked to close out his account since his life was heading a different direction at the time.

As far as gt guys...the die hards will always be around😉

I guess Derek never did a resto thread on this truck, but it runs incredible! It would idle for 24 hours just sitting still. I had a helluva time even finding it on the board! At any rate, we took it out yesterday, and man it's fun to drive!
