Has anybody tried sending the chassis file to dragonplate? Maybe they would have some more reasonable prices for folks in the US.

Finally got a chance to test SLS arms.
Too flexy for indoor carpet - as expected. Unpredictable behaviour in jumps and tight corners. Went back to original B2 arms and car was excellent.
Front SLS arms alone were really close to beeing ok - rear arms just flex too much. With a proper geometry and design SLS prototype arms would work fine.

Old FT shocks also in action. Full droop with rear arms seems to work nicely compared to limited down travel with V2 shocks.

Rear shock tower changed to B3 Worlds and body to Deja Vu Tu.

Niki, do you think the arms would be better suited for a medium bite clay track? If you were having problems with the arms on the carpet, I am sure that would also translate to some of the high bite blue grooved tracks we have here.

These white SLS arms pictured below might be good for medium/loose bite tracks. In those I tested basic geometry isn't rigid enough with PA2200 (SLS) material for any kind of track.
Good thing about SLS is the endless possibilities in design because there are so little geometry/production restrictions. All kinds of crazy sandwich- and added carbon fiber sheet structures can easily be made.

For this car project SLS arms were just a side story. Chassis and front/rear bulkheads were the main thing. And those parts work better than I ever expected.
No broken parts and screw holes also hold threads much better than a normal molded part. Must be something to do with the fact that PA2200 material is so viscous.
Next thing will be a double deck chassis design

It's my indoor car and therefore been on shelf since last winter. I was hoping someone to build similar car and drive it outdoors and report how it works.

Woe this is extremely impressive mate, you should feel very pleased with your hard work... If I was working and had any coin I would be keen on a Cpl of these for sure.. My hat comes off to people who have mastered the 3d cad stuff and especially you mate for making your work available for those that want it.. You should be congratulated Niki so congrats mate..

I'm just working on a B3 racer for next season and fell over this topic, again... My good concience says: "just race your b3 as it is, don't spend any money on it." My bad concience says: "that would be a nice x-mas present...com on! order these parts NOW!!!!" lol

Just wonder what's the difference between all the chassis plates (except stiffness)? What would be the "all-round chassis plate"? Stiff chassis for a grippy track and vice versa?

Would it be easier for you to "choose" between B3-Graphite and standard B3 if I make a new SLS motor mount brace and mounting holes for chassis?
You wouldn't need to cut original chassis tail off and no need to mill transmission case? This way you could test drive both original and graphite chassis without destroying any original parts...?!
For a "all-round chassis" I would take "NIX9200P6" or "NIX9200P14" because of saddle pack mounting possibility.

Yes it would honestly it is what disturbed me a bit on this car. It's no big deal to modify some parts but I think you should make this update

First I really want to race my b3 the way it is. Maybe allready this winter on indoor tracks. Can't wait till next summer season lol Testing and compaing your graphite chassis would be the next step

This looks proper don't you think?
It follows original #9240 shape and I added also skid plate ribs to protect chassis rear edge.
Next thing is to update all chassis drawings with mounting holes for this...
