If you build it, then you'll have to develop Factory Works upgrades for it!

Dammit Jeff, You´re running behind on getting those obsolete rc cars built. By the time You´ll get to these old thingies, You´ll not be able to get parts for them - Just saying

Been adding to the collection. Picked up some neat kits recently, stepping up my Traxxas game a bit.

Looking good - Perhaps it´s a good time to be thinking about more shelves... OR stop collecting :P

It’s been a while, whole new house and slowly getting it all put together. I now have a two car garage and a shed, however the shed while newly built is also very poorly built. Not sure what to do there quite yet. I have run fresh wire to three of the four walls (not bothering with the one on the living side) including 5.1 surround sound, tv, and 4 220v outlets as well as plenty of 120v. We then had the garage spray foamed (the thermal pic shows how bad it was, pretty miserable both summer and winter) and just finished drywall last week. I’m saving the last wall until I have fully moved into the shop since I have already had so much down time. Here is what I’m working with currently. Hopefully within a few days I’ll have a big chunk of it done and ready to build some more workbenches. Also a sneak peek of my new cnc router.

Now that’s an awesome shop/garage, just a lil bit bigger then the one you did back in 14’. I’ve got a one car garage I’m going to be doing last in my home. First was a reno’ of the entire first floor then move in (it’s a ranch with a full basement with the garage in it) now I’m on redoing the finished basement then lastly unfortunately my space. The shop/garage.
I’m definitely going to have to optimize the space because work space, storage, and display will all be in there. So far the only thing I know for sure is as for displaying one side will be for rc and the other side will be for osbmx. I’m starting to think I should really only have one hobby.

Life is too short for just one hobby! It’s amazing how much you can do with little space, just have to plan it out carefully. I drew my goal up in cad planning for future tools and equipment like the air compressor and blast cabinet so I could optimize my table sizes and how they would need to be placed.

That’s an awesome workshop Jeff.

My modest two car garage is so full of junk (motorcycle parts, woodworking tools, etc) that I’m barely able to park my car.

I recall one spring day several years ago when they were forecasting heavy rain, high winds, hail and tornadoes and I really wanted to move all the vehicles into the garage. At the time, I had two cars and a pickup. Around here, we like to park our vehicles in the garage before a storm so when the tornado hits, it leaves everything in one big debris pile and you don’t need to go to the next county to find your car. Anyway, somehow I managed to get everything inside. I think I must have crawled from the pickup through an open window – there’s no way I could have opened the door.

As it happens, the tornado tracked less than two miles from my home.

Later, the solution to my storage problem suddenly became obvious – I sold one of the cars.
