I painted a new body for my original B4 (first one since I bought it back in 2003) to race with over the summer. It's not perfect but it turned out good enough for me

I've built many bikes but this has been the one bike that has never been quite right, for many reasons.

A bit of background - I bought this many years ago and upon tearing it apart for a rebuild I found out that the rear bearing cup was cracked....

I think instead of using the GT parts find period correct aftermarket parts from companies that just made parts(Tioga, Dia Compe, etc). Then find a period correct GT for the GT parts you have.
