Re: Custom RC10
here is an update on one of my current builds. thanks chris for those losi hubs, they work great. I still need to get the body painted, switch to deans connectors and shorten the motor wires...either than that I can get out there soon and start kicking some B4's up.
Re: Custom RC10
i bet the guys at the track that have big money in the b4s will kick themselves as you past them with "an outdated, junk buggy" please make them and people like them eat those words. this is one heck of a awesome build and cool looking car

I got my motor wires shortened now and my deans connectors on. I'll will post more pics after I get it painted. That wont be until summer, because my painter is away until mid-June
I guess I will have to work on my other project for now... I just created this thread today http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=10162 (RC10T Buggy Thingy)
cheers,
anthony

Re: Custom RC10
Why can't Associated make something more like this, instead of what they're making now?
That looks incredible.
Nice work.

Re: Custom RC10
The funny thing is that car in the end cost way more $$$ than a new FT B4. It will never turn lap times of a B4 but to me it is well worth it!

Re: Custom RC10
while i am waiting for my painter to get back from being out of town, I thought I would see what I could do to be cool. I bought a motor heat sink from Novak that I thought would look good, and I think it turned out nice. I had to really trim my motor guard, but it was worth it

Re: Custom RC10
that heat sink is perfect to bend your motor plate and/or chassis after a big hit. It may also destroy the wing and the rear pod of the body, it looks cool though...
