Yes that is a Junior chassis, and the brace is upside down. That is a retro-fit tranny, but I'm not so sure about the slipper( need a closer look ). And those do look Associated shocks. A little work and the car should turn out just fine!

Those appear to be shocks from a Traxxas Bullet. The slipper almost looks like a 2 speed unit, but it's hard to tell from the pic. Definately a great base for a runner.

I'm guessing a knurled adjustment nut for the slipper thingy, but it's just a guess.
Don't think those are Losi rims, are they?

I was watching that one on the bay. The trans is the retro as others have said. The thing that cought my eye was the output shaft. it looks to me like part of a 2-speed setup, which should make an interesting build if that is what it really is
The wheels are likely prolines or modern AE, the dish wheels from losi from that era have raised losi lettering on them.

it should be easy to spot if you have genuine AE shocks there to compare them to. if not just post a good pic when you get them.longboardnj wrote:i have not seen the car yet but i was thinking they were rc10 shocks ..is there a way to tell if they are traxxas shocks when i get it??Those appear to be shocks from a Traxxas Bullet

yeah, i'd say traxxas shocks too, they are a light gold, most associated from what i've seen are more orange. I'm not familiar enough with the early rc10's....I could never afford them, hah.
