Tax Day Procrastinators UNITE!!

Post by JK Racing »

Am I the only one who mails his taxes out each year on the 15th? And to think I am getting a refund from the Fed and an IOU from California....

I did my taxes back in Feb. My CA refund arrived in late March. Took about a month for CA and about 10 days for Federal.

I always mail mine on the 15th. But that's only to keep the money in my own pocket for as long as possible (I have my own business and owe every year). I delivered everything at the end of February and my accountant actually was done with them in mid-March. Obama doesn't get to cash my check until next week.
The preceding contained opinions, beliefs and thoughts that all may not agree with. No offense was intended at any point. Carry on.

That is where I cant figure out why I procrastinate...I am getting a return, both state and fed. "My" (you know the kind...wife sells her crafts, but everything is in my name...) online, ebay business never helps or hurts my taxes, usually about $100 different either way (profit or loss).

I am just as bad when doing my sales tax paperwork for the state...I wait until the day before it is due and cram for a few hours and get it done. I'm sure if the sales ever took off, I would be swamped and never finish.
