My N.I.P. BigWig Build
I bought a Boomerang in pretty sad shape a few months ago, with intentions to convert it into a BigWig,like I used to do when I was a kid...Once it got here,I realised that it wasn't gonna happen,so I cleaned it up and sold it.
I decided to buy every single parts tree, screw bag, body, wheels and decals off eBay and build one out of new parts.
I'm nearly there!
Just need a decal sheet,a pressed parts bag and some wheels and tires.
I bought a few parts cars, but I doubt I'll need anything off them.
I'll probably just sell one off as a nice runner.

Nice! I often look for Bigwig tires and wheels on the bay for two Wigs that I have waiting for rebuild. They usually bring good $$ but stuff has been all over the place as of late so who knows. Looks like you have just about everything you need. Keep us posted.

Re: My N.I.P. BigWig Build
Thanks-will do,JD!
The wheels are out there,I'm just holding off buying them,at the moment and concentrating on getting the more hard to find parts, for now.
I'm having trouble finding a BigWig 'B' parts tree-I bought a Boomerang one, which was advertised as a Bigwig parts tree, but it was a Boomerang tree and, subsequently was missing the rear chassis extension.
I have a nice repro body comin'.
I'm really trying hard to resist building it until I have every single part here, not starting it and having another partially built car here, waiting for parts.
I think it'll be more fun that way, too!
I probably should have built a SuperShot, but there's something about BigWig's that I've always liked...
JD-If you want a REALLY tidy second hand set of wheels,a mate of mine has some I could get for you at a good price.

Aren't bigwig tires the same as hotshot and boomerang tires???
Should be easy to get now.

Sure are.
The good ol' Oval Blocks!
It's the wheels which are a little hard to come by new in packet, but there are always a few sets on the 'bay.
