Just a thought.
I was thinking of using FT blue ones myself since I have already used all FT screws. Do you have the Part Numbers for all the turnbuckles you used?vintage AE wrote:I asked the same question pages backunfortunately, i was told it was something that us got to figure out for yourself. I just used old RC10 turnbuckles for mock up and measured them to order some appropriated sized blue Factory Team titanium turnbuckles :
A lot of people are currently using Lunsford turnbuckles...they are beefy and look durable, but in my opinion are over priced. They are popular and seem to be getting good reviews, I just went with the FT ones for the color scheme I have.
These are the numbers I gave vintage AE based on his measurements on his car. They should work on other conversions. Worst case, you may have to cut off a mill or two on each side of the turnbuckle.vintage AE wrote:Here are the part numbers, yet I have not received them yet so I don't know if they will have to be trimmed. I did measure twice, yet things happen.
1 asc1402 1.375 (35mm)
2 asc1404 1.775 (45mm) (extra one for the servo)
1 asc1405 1.875 (48mm)
You must use the 7230 (B3/B4) ball cups with these turnbuckles.
I'm working in the field and will not know the details of these for another 2 weeks or so.
