6gear trans with losi diff??any good? let me know
i saw this set up. it has a bearing on the diff mount/tube. the guy said,"The slipper clutch has a bearing in the diff tube which I believe is a Losi diff tube". is this any good (aftermarket,or losi),has this been done before with no mods to trans or is this junk?

Losi made a diff tube for the 6 gear I believe but it is just a replacement for the original not a whole diff gear. I see themn around ever once in a while.

so only the 1 part is different and if i got this trans and wanted to change back to stock associated part i could ? or was it an old school grind/cut to fit part and you need to replace more parts to return to stock?Losi made a diff tube for the 6 gear I believe but it is just a replacement for the original not a whole diff gear. i kinda interested to see if that's a tq10 motor plate, or just a stealth plate on a 6 gear.

If someone doesn't answer this before tomorrow I will have a definitive answer for you but I still think it was just a direct replacement part. Of course you can grind/cut anything if you want and some might reccommend that anyway.longboardnj wrote:so only the 1 part is different and if i got this trans and wanted to change back to stock associated part i could ? or was it an old school grind/cut to fit part and you need to replace more parts to return to stock?Losi made a diff tube for the 6 gear I believe but it is just a replacement for the original not a whole diff gear. You may find that trans is full of hop-up goodies... note the large out drive bearings.
Nothing wrong with a modded six-gear.

I may be able to come up with something but it may take a while. There around.
