Thanks for the comments fellas, that is actually a 3d render done with 3d Studio Max. The particular league I am racing in is still utilizing Nascar Racing 2003.
I have done some modding for a newer sim named rFactor which is quite amazing. If you want to check out what the modding community has made available for rFactor check out www.rfactorcentral.com The game was built as a modding platform for the community. I did all the 3d models for the dirtFactor mod.

Good points about the auto-stick...does an auto-stick EXIST that really lets you shift in a performance manner like a standard? The computer overrides anything you'd want it to do that's outside of what it considers safe . :? My Torrent has that too...

Ah, of course! I'd bet someone used the wrong grease. Ball diff's require a special grease which is actually not an ordinary lubricant. I think maybe this happens often.
Anyway, it's good to learn that you've gotten the problem sorted out.

Mid motor works fine on any surface and when setup real well can actually shine on low traction tracks. As long as people tune them like they tune rear motor cars, they'll never figure out mid setups. Quite literally anything works on high bite...
