Diff balls are 3mm, thrust balls 1.5mm (but also 5/64" fit, just use one ball less).

Cheers Slazzaro,

Would 3mm Chrome Steel Balls do the trick or should I be looking for something harder?

I think chrome steel are just fine, they will last a bit less but the first part to replace will be the rings anyway.
