Team Pit Stop Slipper
I came across a few parts in my TPS stash that I haven't seen before. It's an interesting slipper concept from days gone by. I am going to guess that it was optional as it is not included in the nip trans I have ...
Slipper parts on the left, standard non-slipper shaft and gear adapter on the right. The red parts are Rulon, the same material as the early Associated slipper pads.
Here are the Rulon nubs installed in the spur gear. Yes, assembly is as tedious as it seems!
Fully assembled. The Rulon nubs sit proud of the gear and slip on the 2 steel rings.

Re: Team Pit Stop Slipper
I had the very same slipper in my losi cars back before the stealth came out.(Then I went back to associated) They worked very well even by todays standards. I can't remember if I ever saw one on a 6 gear but I definitely remember them on the MIP's and it took the performance of a already great trans to the next level. All of the fast guys ( including "TEAM" guys) ran that setup. Most would not cop to it but when they raced Roar and Norrica points races most had them.

Re: Team Pit Stop Slipper
I don't think any one would put it on a 6-gear 'cause that would take away the diff
