My losi family photos

Post by aconsola »

A little family photo to document the addiction that rc10talk has fed. When I found this site all I had was a stock jrx-T that needed a couple spares, and all I was looking to get was a runner x-2.
This is one of each of the originals, all but the junior-T:

Next is my aftermarket x2, stock earlyx2, oval conversion x2, and the micro-T

I've got a nib junior-T that I still haven't built, and enough parts for a jrx-T, after that I'm planning on a mildly hopped-up pro. . . it's all 10talks fault

mmmmmmmmmmmmm, Losi cars...

Looks great. I need to get my behind in gear and start putting my Losi's together. So far, mine will be runner/as raced resto/mod style.

Sweet indeed. Nice pictures too, must have a pretty good sized light box. I'm with JK, need to organize and clean mine up a bit. Then learn how to take good pictures. Too busy keeping our new stuff in proper race shape, that's my story and I'm sticking to it...

Thanks all for the kind words.
Bongo. the pic was taken on my workbench
When I built the bench I covered it with white fiberglass sheet, the textured/bumpy stuff usually used for wall protection. it comes in 4'x8' sheets but my worktop is only 32" deep. I keep the leftover piece of 8'x16" material under the table and prop it up against all the tools/junk on the pegboard when I need to take a picture. It does nothing for the shadows like a lightbox would, but does make for clean photos.

I was going to do latemodel, but everyone around here is gaga for edm's so I'd be racing against myself.
Maybe I should stick with the original plan, I have a better chance of winning that way.

well, all you'd need is 2 more guys to look at it the same way and you'll have a LM class. :)
