A different kind of vintage Schumacher...

Post by call-911 »

My Vintage Trans-Am Mi2EC. I bought it off of a team Schumi driver in the Spring and took these pics after a rebuild. It will be making its maiden voyage (for me) next weekend.

Looks very smart.
Do those tires work well or only serve for display and pics?

Those tires are part of the spec. They work well on the carpet we run with a little tire goop to soften them up. It's actually a spec series and the cars are relatively slow but the racing is tight. My brother is actually one of the early founders of the class.. Everything you need to know about the class can be found here: http://www.usvintagetransam.com/

Cool!
I love spec racing and stock classes (as long as I can freely mod the car with parts any pieces from any supplier  )

They're HPI wheels (plastic). They come in the 5 spoke and Panasport style and you can get them in white, black, silver, or chrome.
